The full loop is a combination of the Milburn Landing Trail and the Algonquin Trail. There is another trailhead located at Pocomoke River State Park's Milburn Landing. Although the trail itself is open year-round, that trailhead is inaccessible at times, as the park at Milburn Landing is closed seasonally.
