0.75 miles

Tilghman, MD

Managed By:

No DNR map available online.

No entry fee.

The wooded area just north of the point is the only portion of this site that has a walking trail and is open for visitation. It is only open 9am-5pm daily. The 6 acres surrounding the Black Walnut Point Inn is private property and not open to visitation. Parking is available in the fishing area just north of the Navy research station. Walk down the gravel roadway and you'll soon see a sign on the left directing you to the nature trail. It is a loop that will come back out on the gravel road a little further south.
