Parks & Recreation Surveys and Comprehensive Plans

Who here wants more trails on Delmarva? How about more parks or playgrounds? Recreation programs and events? There are ways to make your voices heard! In Maryland, most counties are undergoing surveys right now to gather input from the public to make updates to their Land Preservation, Parks, and Recreation Plans (LPPRPs). See the links to the individual surveys below.

Virginia and Delaware also have similar processes to gather input. Delaware did a public survey in 2024 to develop a comprehensive plan for outdoor recreation.Virginia did the same in 2022.
